Customers asked for more and Umag delivers. The new Mag 9 system now offers an even easier interface delivering exceptional power and versatility. With the standard Echo 50XF transmitter, the Mag 9 allows not only Sub kHz frequencies for exceptional performance of up to 30 ft depth in 0.325 kHz all but eliminating rebar and wire-mesh interference, quickly changing on the fly to high frequencies up to 41 kHz allowing depth and distance range of up to 150 feet. Add to that, Mag 9 drill display with 7” color touch screen, built-in Data-Log system, and the best bang for the buck in the industry.

With introduction of Mag 9 locating system, Underground Magnetics also introduced updated new transmitter Echo 50X. Paired with the new locator, you eliminate practically all interference from rebar and wire mesh up to 30 feet deep. The Echo 50XF offers 16 frequencies, with sub kHz options for high interference areas.
For long distance projects Mag 9 offers 4 radio channels that deliver up to 1800 feet connection between locator receiver and remote display. When paired with extended range antenna, the system is capable to work up to 3000 feet.
